It has been a few months, since my last post...

Well another few months have passed and no blog entry. I suppose it's not surprising but to be honest I don't know where the time has gone. Summer was great, Fall is upon us, well as best that Fall can look here is South Texas, we don't notice the turning of the color on our trees. The Frontera Quilt Guild Retreat in New Braunfels, Tx. was much fun. I have a few friends who have their husband who are very ill, they need prayer for healing and strenght.

My daughter and future son in law are having a house built (green, totally energy star).

I just stared pricing the Harlingen Country Club estate sale, nice things.

As if I don't have enough to do, including many quilting projects in the works, I could not resist signing up for a quilting class at the Frontera Quilt Guild with Bonnie Hunter as the instructor (I know awsome) the class is the early part in December. I need to start selecting fabric for this project it calls for scrappy, but, I think I want to use Batiks... The assumption is that I have a large stash to select from. In my case I DO. But, I think I can purchase or add to my stash when I go to the International Quilt Show in Houston on November 4th. Does this sound like a perfect reason to shop for more fabric.

I have finished a few quilting projects that were U.F.O.'s, and finished a RGVQG Retreat class sample for March 2011 which I will be teaching.

I will post pictures, enjoy!

Mark Lipinski Just wanted to drop in to tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE that quilt in your profile pic!! I'm DROOLING! Did you design it? Whose beautiful fabric? FABULOUS!

WallLoretta Weaver and Judith A Elliott also love this quilt.

Mark Lipinski Oh, and remember when it was suggested we only use a hint of orange (if at all) in any quilt? LOL

Mi Belia Mena Thanks Mark, I am so thrilled you like one of my quilts (ok, back to earth, lol) It is a Debbie Caffrey Mystery Pattern we did at retreat, fabric is Moda, Cehz Mois, Charisma, and I don't do orange, but, this one I love it is more of a paprika, saffronish color.... Maybe you can come to the Rio Grande Valley in the fall..... for a lecture, we would love to have you.... Once again thanks.
